About “Neural Star Maps”

The lyrics for this track were prompted from a consideration of the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) but also contemplating not just what is seen in the night sky, but that we see it through an image on our retina that stimulates the neurons in our brain. A derived metaphor, drawing a parallel between the billions of these neurons and the billions of stars in the universe, had earlier found its way into the first few verses of the AI poem in my blog “Opening Pandoras Box”, and these were used too. Suno.ai was prompted to use these lyrics to choose appropriate voice, instrumentation, and musical style. The results amazed me, particularly the instrumental interpretation of sparkling stars and neurons in sound. It was this work that also created the original voice of Orphia, my AI digital muse.
