Journals

The refereed journal articles here are arranged by topic area: Computational Social Science, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience and Psychophysiology, Psychometric Test Development (by test), Family Psychology, and Miscellaneous.

Papers on Computational Social Science have arising mostly from work carried out with staff and students at The Psychometrics Centre, University of Cambridge since 2010. Works on Cognitive Science arose from collaborations with the author panel of the journal Philosophical Psychology, largely in the 1980s and 1990s. The work on Neuroscience and Psychophysiology emerged from my time in the 1970s as a PhD student and then Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, University of London (now part of Kings College, London). Those on Psychometric Test Development cover the whole period from the early 1970s to the present day. Publications on Family Psychology were carried out in collaboration with Susan Golombok and her team at the Centre for Family Research in the University of Cambridge since 2005 (and before that in the Family Research Centre at City University, London).  The section headed ‘Others’ are those that do not fit conveniently into nay of the above categories.
