Tests and Questionnaires
Psychological assessment questionnaires are of two types. Those for typical psychological behaviour (normally described as ‘questionnaires’), and those for maximal performance on an examination or ability test (normally described as ‘tests’).
There is a plethora of psychological assessment questionnaires available for typical human psychological performance. These include assessments of personality, integrity, interests, motivation, values, temperament, attitude and belief.
For most (but not all) of these assessments, their use is restricted to appropriately qualified professionals. Contact your professional society for more details. Also, note that in academic settings, as access to such tests and their manuals is not freely available, published psychometric tests are not in themselves treated as peer reviewed. If a peer reviewed citation is required see the Peer Reviewed Publications pages on this website.
